The Vilms Consulting Story
Starting with a single bookkeeping client in 2008 while continuing her education, Michelle Vilms gained more clients and certifications over the next few years. She officially founded VILMS CONSULTING in 2011. By 2014, she hired her first full time employee and by the end of 2018 hired four more to keep up with the growing business. Vilms continued to expand her clientele and services by driving growth and value for businesses, as well as establishing her reputation and presence in the world of accounting as an innovator, educator, and inspiration.
During the covid crisis in 2020, she continued to expand her workforce in the challenging economy, and increased Vilms Consulting revenue by 40%, and by the end of 2021 another 40%. Currently, Vilms Consulting has ten full time dedicated accounting specialists, a marketing team, and is consistently evolving software applications and practices to service multiple business sectors and her community.
